Tiger Woods comes to Comerica

DETROIT – Tiger Woods will visit the home of the Detroit Tigers for a one-of-a-kind clinic to highlight the Buick Open’s 50th anniversary celebration. The clinic, scheduled from 3-4 p.m. June 24, will be at Comerica Park. With the struggles of the Tigers this season, Woods should bring some electricity to the 10,000 or so fans who will be seated behind home plate.

The tickets cost $50 and include a one-day pass to the Buick Open later in the week. A $150 pass will include access to the grounds the entire week. Woods can easily hit a ball out of the park with a 9-iron, so he may have to use balls that don’t fly as far or try to show off his short-game tricks. Tickets will be available at www.tigers.com or by calling 866-66-Tiger or at the Comerica Park box office.
