Crystal Mountain brings back Adam Schriber
THOMPSONVILLE – Adam Schriber has always been a national-caliber name when it comes to instruction, but he’s been getting a lot more ink lately, with the recent win at The Wachovia Championship by Anthony Kim, a 22-year-old wunderkind taught by Schriber.
Schriber, for a short time, was the general manager at High Pointe near Traverse City, but now has returned to the Crystal Mountain Golf Schools' Junior Golf Academy as lead instructor.
"Our Junior Golf Academy students have had great competitive success at the junior, collegiate, and professional level," said Brad Dean, Crystal Mountain director of golf. "Adam's wealth of knowledge developing young talent, like Anthony Kim, will only enhance our program's success."
Schriber will work with a range of students from beginner level to those in the Junior Elite program, which has produced three of the last six Michigan Amateur champions. He will also continue working with high profile professionals like Kim and Candie Kung, currently among the top 30 money winners on the LPGA Tour. A former PGA, Nike and Ben Hogan Tour professional, Schriber co-founded the Performax Golf Academy in Dallas and was instrumental in the success of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. He spent over a decade with Leadbetter serving as both Director of Instruction Western U.S. and United States Liaison for the Golf Academy.
